I am elated to fellowship with the outstanding writers of this fantastic storytelling series. The Plain Talk Workshop Series, hosted by Spine Indie Bookstore & Cafe, is scheduled every second Saturday of the month through June 2024. The sessions will feature St. Louis local and national (but homegrown) authors from diverse genres whose work highlights cross-generational relationships and themes.

On April 13th, from 1:00 - 4:00 pm, I will share upcoming projects and my life as a poet, writer, and educator. I will also probe my creative process: who/what my inspirations are and how I mix genre, music, and teaching to drive social change in my work.
