Homemade
I slept in until the last drop of sun sheathed the bedroom.
Prayer and meditation from the bed.
Zinc, Vitamin D, Vitamin C, water, and elderberry tea.
It's been a while since I wrote here. For over three months now, I have been battling sickness with exaggerated flu/COVID-like symptoms that have ached through my body, a throbbing ailment doctors can't seem to identify, and one I can't seem to wriggle from under.
I've been writing and reading.
I've been healing and reflecting.

The song, 'Hammer and Felt' by Beneath The Mountain, is on repeat.
Yoruba & Ifa.
The nation is split and outraged and hurting on both sides. (so is K-Dot)
Palm up, heart open, prayer for the grace of another day.
Everyone is problematic to a cause.
Everyone is a hero to a cause.
Orange juice & Cheezits.
With all my heart…Té
