If You Don’t Mind
Prayer Meditation, reflection.
Sun salutation and a long, slow, sweaty walk to the park.
My heart is well. I feel calmly aligned today. I haven't felt that way in such a long time. There's no external force to assign the feeling to. I feel good in my skin. My skin feels good to touch and experience. I also stumbled upon the perfect opening quote for my book 'LET'S DO BLACK PEOPLE SHIT.' I am beyond thrilled for it.
Kids are with their Aunt…all day.
I said, “I love you.” the weight of this seemed intense. As if I could sum up my gratitude for how grand love is in a blog paragraph. Love is bigger than the folders we attempt to store it in. Love is bigger than the contract of ownership we’ve come to call marriage. Lemon ginger tea.

Some dreams are delicious.
I danced in my living room, to the sound of a smoothie in the kitchen, and in my writing room, twirling and James-Brown-stomping as I read beautiful poems aloud. I reflected on love and the potential of sharing this heart, this mind, these lips, these hands with someone to feel sexy (calmly aligned within) together.
The world falls into indigo and cities and states don’t mean anything.
Everyone is problematic to a cause.
Everyone is a hero to a cause.
Grapefruit, mango, green tea. (yummy den’ a mugg)
With all my heart…Té
